Transit lobby day(s)

Today is another transit lobby day, but as far as I am concerned, pretty much every day is a transit lobby day. Both President Huberman and I have been down in Springfield this week. This is obviously a much slower process than anyone would like, but I am encouraged and hopeful that we are making progress toward a funding solution.

State lawmakers are very much engaged on transit funding and I am pleased that transit is part of the budget discussions. Please don’t let up in communicating with your elected officials about the importance of transit to you. It continues to be enormously helpful.
